Rob Newton strives to provide fresh locally sourced meats and poultry and Fresh Free Range Turkeys, Ducks, Capons and Geese can be ordered for Christmas. All cuts of meat have been traditionally hung and cut on the premises with plenty of friendly advice concerning suitable cuts and recipes on hand (Rob also being a trained chef!) Lincolnshire Sausages (made by a traditional recipe) and various Burgers are produced on the premises using the same quality pork, beef and lamb that are sold in the counter. Corn fed chickens, which are kept in large barns where they have freedom of movement, are always in stock and fresh seasonal game from local sources are also available.
Rob’s wife Kay and her team bring you a full range of home made products, which are made within the highest standards of hygiene in the kitchens. All are made from fresh, quality ingredients and are prepared using traditional methods and recipes. Top quality cuts of meat are used to produce the popular Steak or Chicken pies and the Sausage rolls, Scotch eggs and Sausage squares made from Rob’s own sausagemeat. A variety of Quiches is always available or can be produced to order to give you your own personal choice of filling.
